With the state facing a big budget deficit, legislators are not likely to serve up the extra cash and students are bracing to pay even more next year.
Noe Guerrero, Fresno State Junior said: "I have no choice. I have to pay it if I want to go to school. I guess I have no choice but to pay it."
The fee increase amounts to about four-hundred dollars a year for full-time students. They're already paying about a-thousand more this year than they paid last year.
