About 140 out of 740 high school students were absent Wednesday. And about 50 out of 250 middle school students were reported absent in recent days.
Hand sanitizer is now available in classrooms and custodians are intensifying cleaning efforts. Letters are also being sent home urging parents to keep sick kids out of class.
