According to the indictment, Mustin mailed a package containing five pipe bombs to "Cal-Air Cooling and Heating" in Visalia. The business is owned by Mustin's brother, Dan.
Investigators believe Dan was the intended target, although the suspect's nephew opened the package and was injured when one of the bombs detonated.
Investigators say a re-mailing service was used to send the package, but they tracked it back to Vernon Mustin through his computer I.P. address.
