Community Food Bank's Food Distributions

FRESNO, Calif. Food Bank Director Dana Wilkie said despite the need-- fewer people are showing up at food giveaways. The Food Bank recently received additional funding to continue its distributions-- but Wilkie believes people are not aware-- and the weather is also keeping people away.

Wilkie said, "Folks just don't realize that we're back! With the drought disaster, we're serving the westside with our bimonthly distributions and it's important that people know that were here-- that we're ready to help them and rain and cold temperatures just won't keep us away."

The Community Food Bank plans to continue distributions through the spring.
