Movie filmed in Fresno helps kids in crisis

FRESNO, Calif.

The film is part of the Hopes and Dreams' Project -- which uses arts and film to help children in crisis.

Organizers say acting in their very own movie gives children a positive experience in a life of challenges. And parents said they can already see how the movie is changing their children's lives.

The film should be released by the beginning of March.

The Hopes and Dreams Project says plans are already underway for their next film.
