The Valley's Portuguese community held its Annual Holy Ghost Celebration and parade Sunday morning - the start to a full day of festivities in honor of Queen Isabella.
The former Queen of Portugal is known for feeding the country's needy during her reign in the 13th century.
"We have a Queen that symbolizes Queen Isabella, we have Queens that come from all over the Valley and we just make this parade to show our respect to the holy spirit and to honor her," Kathi Woodward said.
This was the 84th Annual Holy Ghost Festival in Fresno County.
After the parade, participants gathered for a Catholic Mass and a free meal.
