A photo of a baby just months old holding a large firearm was among the items seized during the operation.
Several agencies took part, including the Fresno Police and sheriff's departments, as well as the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium, also known as /*MAGEC*/.
Forty officers searched more than thirty locations. Three firearms were recovered during the operation.
Lt. Jose Garza said, "Because of the recent violence, we want to be able to send a strong message out there to prevent any further violence."
In all, officers arrested seven /*taggers*/ and their associates on either warrants, or various probation and weapons charges.
