Father beats Clovis man in front of Police over alleged relations with teen daughter

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Atwater Police say a 23-year-old Dylan Nobile of Clovis is facing several charges after messages on her phone showed he was having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Around 8 p.m. on Friday night, a police officer was stopped at an intersection when a man ran up to the officer and demanded he pull over the car directly in front of the officer. Police say, before the officer could respond, the man ran up to the car and started beating Nobile through the window. After the officer told the man to stop, he tazered the man who eventually complied with the officer.

After interviewing both parties involved, police say the man had recently intercepted messages from his 15-year-old daughter's cell phone where he learned that Nobile was having a sexual relationship with her.

Nobile was taken to jail on a variety of sex charges. Investigators say he has been arrested in the past for sex crimes.

Nobile declined to press charges against the girl's father for beating him.
