Passenger bus catches fire in north Fresno

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- A bus traveling from Los Angeles to Washington caught on fire in Fresno early Thursday morning.

The bus was filled with passengers, but all of them got out safely.

Officials say the bus blew a tire on the highway and by the time it got to a truck stop on Herndon Avenue, the tire burst into flames. The fire spread to the back end of the bus.

No one was hurt in the incident.
