Citrus harvest underway

FOWLER, California (KFSN) -- The holidays aren't the only reason to get excited about winter, it is peak season for many citrus crops.

Bee Sweet Citrus grows more than 10 thousand acres of oranges, mandarins and lemons year round. They also provide numerous specialty varieties around this time. They say harvest takes place year round, but winter is peak season for all citrus commodities.

They say overall this year's crop is excellent!
