Valley shops celebrate Free Comic Book Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Comic book fans have a big weekend in front of them.

The newest Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War" arrived in theaters and free comic book day is Saturday.

Free Comic Book Day is celebrated every year on the first Saturday of May. This year Heroes Comics will have a local artist who's worked on several big comics.

It will also have Batman there to take pictures along with several other characters like Deadpool.

Legends Comics and Games in Fresno will also be giving out free comics and Visalia's Collectors Choice will be handing out giveaway bags.
