FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crowds of people came out Tuesday to celebrate July 4th, on July 3rd.

Kerman High School is just one place locals from the valley checked out.

Richard Gonzales says he's been coming to the Kerman firework show from Fresno for the last seven years with his family; all dressed in red, white and blue.

"We are very pro-American I got a younger sister in the service, so it's kind of our way to salute her and thank her for her service," says Gonzales.

Event organizers say their festival and fireworks bring about 2,000 people each year.

The show has food to face painting vendors, even a mobile escape room.

A little further south in Selma, another big turnout for pre-fourth fun and fireworks.

Not to worry if you missed out on the action Tuesday, there will be plenty more places to go on the Fourth of July, including the Grizzlies game at Chuckchansi Park.

Aside from baseball and BBQ, the stadium will have five water slides, all free for kids.

You will also see Grizzlies playing in these patriotic jerseys, which are getting auctioned off at the end of the game to raise money for veterans.
