Man shot while standing near home in downtown Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering in the hospital after a shooting in downtown Fresno.

It happened at about midnight Monday at Mono and B Street.

Police say the victim was outside near his home when two men shot at him.

He was hit several times in the upper body.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The suspects ran away.

Police say they don't what led to the attack.
