Dozens without power after DUI crash in Madera

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of Madera residents are without power after a woman crashed her car into a power pole, according to police.

It happened on Avenue 17 and Golden State Boulevard Tuesday evening. Officials say the driver, Sara Cuevas, was driving while under the influence.

PG&E crews are repairing the damaged power lines and working to restore power to the area, police said.
