FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are battling a grass fire in Fresno County off Oak Flat Lane and Shady Oaks Road near Tollhouse.

Cal Fire says about 70 acres are burning right now, and residents can see smoke rising up over the side of the hillsides.

Firefighters say they received multiple calls about it and the first engine reported it was about five to 10 acres around 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

They say the flames are mostly fueled by grass and is burning on slopes and terrain which is why they have the heavy amount of aircraft responding to get access to the fire along with ground crews.

Firefighters say there was one immediate structure threatened when crews first got here but it isn't any longer.

Cal Fire does not have any word on containment yet.
