Nearly 1,000 tons of hay burning in Fresno County
Calfire crews say the hay stack fire started by spontaneous combustion but was fueled by strong gusts late Friday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Over 900 tons of hay are on fire in west Fresno County Saturday and firefighters say they'll be up in flames for several days.

It's burning on a farm near San Joaquin in Fresno County. Calfire crews say the hay stack fire started by spontaneous combustion but was fueled by strong gusts late Friday.

Now three large stacks are burning and it's unclear how much it will cost.
