FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sweet corn sales are now officially under way at Fresno State.
Doors opened at 7 a.m. but customers got to the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market a lot earlier than that.
The popular produce is available in three different varieties: yellow, white and the new bi-color: which is yellow and white.
Over 36,000 ears of corn were sold on opening day.
Sweet corn season runs through August.
The Fresno State Market is open seven days a week, but they'll be closed Monday to observe Memorial Day.
