Iconic 'Full House' home listing for $37 million was illegitimate, Zillow says

SAN FRANCISCO -- It looks like the San Francisco home featured on the classic sitcom "Full House" is not on the market for $37 million after all.

Zillow released a statement on Wednesday saying that a listing on the site for the iconic home was illegitimate and has been removed from the site.

"Our teams use a number of different tools to prevent inappropriate content from publishing in the first place, but if a listing is found to be fraudulent after it's posted, our team takes steps to remove it," a Zillow spokesperson says. "In this case, we discovered a "For Sale By Owner" listing was illegitimate after it was posted, and have since taken it down. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused."

The house on Broderick Street, which is shown in the opening credits just before each episode, features four bedrooms and three and a half baths.

This house is different than the iconic Painted Ladies, which are also featured in the show's intro and theme song.

The exterior of the "Full House" home in San Francisco is well-known for being featured in the TV series, but the inside looks completely different.

According to property records, the home last sold in November for just over $5 million.

It appears the owners did a total remodel.
