Fresno's Gaston Middle School ready to welcome students for 1st day of class

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Back-to-school preparations are underway at several local campuses this weekend.

On Saturday, faculty members at Gaston Middle School in Southwest Fresno were putting together the final touches in their classrooms before students return on Monday. They were busy organizing supplies for the year and decorating the walls with posters and classroom rules.

A number of Valley school districts are back in session next week, including Fresno, Madera, Merced and Porterville Unified.
