1 killed in Terra Bella shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was killed Sunday after he was shot in the head in Terra Bella.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff's office, 38-year-old Alex Ballesteros was found near Avenue 92 and Road 248 with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities say Ballesteros and a 17-year-old male were walking down the road when a car pulled up alongside the two around 12:30 p.m. The occupants of the car began harassing the two and shouted gang slurs at them. Afterward, one suspect exited the car and began shooting.

The 17-year-old was not injured.

Deputies arrested 22-year-old Isidro Gomez and 19-year-old Alfred Gomez.
