FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews have made major progress on the Hunters Fire burning in Mariposa County.
The wildfire started on Monday in the Hunters Valley area and has burned 677 acres, according to Cal Fire.
There are still a few hot spots, but after a lot of hard work by hundreds of firefighters, the wildfire is 95 percent contained, officials said on Friday. Full containment is expected by Monday.
Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
