LODI, Calif. (KFSN) -- A small plane carrying 17 skydivers crashed in Lodi Thursday afternoon, leaving only the pilot with minor injuries.
An FAA spokesman said the single-engine plane experienced engine trouble shortly after takeoff. The plane was forced to make a made a hard landing and clipped a car on the way which caused it to land upside-down in a vineyard.
The spokesperson said nobody on the ground was hurt.
An investigation into the cause is underway.
