Valley Oscar nominee enjoys big night in Hollywood
Lou Pecora's fairytale weekend didn't have the Hollywood ending he wanted, but it was still a happy ending and then some.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Lou Pecora's fairytale weekend didn't have the Hollywood ending he wanted, but it was still a happy ending and then some.

Pecora was nominated for an Oscar for his work as the visual effects supervisor on "X-Men: Days of Future Past." The Bullard High School and Fresno State graduate didn't take an Oscar home but still considers himself a winner.

Pecora sent us pictures from his big night in Hollywood. One photo shows him and his wife on the red carpet before the ceremony.

Pecora says he had a great time at the ceremony and at the Governor's Ball, and had his wish of meeting Michael Keaton come true. He doesn't have any pictures of that, but he has proof of meeting with and hanging out with actor Bruce Dern.

Pecora says the experience is one he will never forget.
