MARIPOSA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Mariposa County Sheriff's Office took down a marijuana growing operation which led to the arrest of 10 people.
Deputies received information about a suspected marijuana grow in the 4000 block of Gavilan Road in Mariposa. Once inside the home deputies said they arrested 10 people.
According to deputies the home had very little furniture, had drying lines hung throughout, multiple large black bags filled with dried marijuana, scales, and packaging materials. Also recovered was a handgun and multiple boxes and bags of ammunition.
Authorities said an additional 787 marijuana plants were being grown on the property.
Deputies said all suspects were booked in the Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility on felony charges of marijuana cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale.
All suspects are being held on $100,000 bail.
