1 dead, 1 injured in Fresno County crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Friday at the intersection of Manning Avenue and West Avenue, between Easton and Caruthers. Highway Patrol officials say the driver of the car missed a stop sign and hit the side of the big rig.

The woman driving the car died at the scene. Her passenger was taken to the hospital.

A third car side swiped the wreck shortly after it all happened. The driver of that car and the semi truck were both not hurt.
