CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- There were some scary moments at Wild Water Adventure Park in Clovis on Saturday. A child had to be rescued after going underwater.

Park officials say the boy went down a slide in the Orca Lagoon and didn't immediately resurface. A lifeguard and another visitor pulled the boy to safety.

The child didn't remember the incident and coughed up some water but was responsive. He was checked out by EMTs as a precaution.
