Fire crews battling a wildfire in the Sequoia National Forest near Lake Success

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fire crews are battling a wildfire Wednesday afternoon in the Sequoia National Forest. The Stairs Fire is burning along Highway 190. Traffic is limited to just one lane.

The forest service says the fire broke out just before 7pm Tuesday night. Firefighters were able to contain the fire at five acres, and they are now putting out hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
