Large tree branch falls on car in Roeding Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A large tree branch snapped inside Fresno's Roeding Park on Sunday, falling right onto a car.

The branch landed on a Dodge Stratus, almost burying it underneath the leaves. The car's back window was shattered, but no other damage was visible.

A city of Fresno worker was on hand to help assess the situation. It's not clear why the branch suddenly snapped.
