Man arrested on DUI, domestic violence charges after Fresno County chase

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was arrested after leading authorities on a high-speed chase in Fresno County early Friday morning.

The car came to a stop when the suspect hit a power pole at Cedar and Wood near Riverdale. Investigators say the incident began earlier when the suspect went to an ex-girlfriend's home and threatened her with a gun.

When officers spotted the man's car, they began chasing him and that's when the crash happened. The driver has not been identified. He received minor injuries in the crash and has been arrested on domestic violence and DUI charges.
