TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A big rig blew through a stop sign killing two people in a Ford Expedition and injuring two others in another car. The crash happened on Avenue 400 and Road 56 west of Dinuba in Tulare County.

The Tulare County coroner's office identified the victims as 42-year-old Delfino Arroyo from Orosi and 62-year-old Yolanda Anaya from Hanford.

We're told a big rig parked at the intersection may have blocked Arroyo and Anaya's view, preventing them from seeing the big rig driving head-on into traffic.

Aziz Hussein told explained, "There was another one right here just parked. He was at the taco truck so you couldn't see nothing."

Officer Scott Harris with the California Highway Patrol said, "It kind of goes to the point no matter where you're driving around you really need to be paying attention because there are road signs, stop signs and they're for folks safety but you have to pay attention and notice these things in order for them to work right."

The highway patrol is still investigating the crash. It's possible the big rig driver could face charges for vehicular manslaughter.
