FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Starting in October, people will only be allowed to water their lawns twice a week.

During November and December, residents can only water one day per week before watering is completely banned in January and February. Watering will go back to three-times a week in the summer.

The changes are part of the city's "stage four" water ordinance, prompted by the state's severe drought.
