SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol says a man is dead following a crash involving a car and a fuel tanker truck in Selma.

Thursday's crash was recorded by a surveillance camera in the area of Conejo and Fowler avenues. Authorities say Edwin Camp, 74, of Kingsburg was driving a white Lexus. He ran a stop sign and smashed right into the truck.

Camp died from his injuries Thursday night. His passenger is recovering, and the truck driver is OK.

The tanker truck flipped and leaked diesel fuel after the accident, but no major problems were reported.
