Visalia police investigate a shooting that leaves 1 injured

It happened after four this morning near Houston Avenue and County Center Drive in Visalia. Officers say they found the victim with a gunshot wound, in the area and that person was rushed to the hospital. The victim is expected to survive.

So far there is no word on the identity or leads on a suspect. The victim's name and gender are not being released.
