PG&E employee dies while working in the area of the Carr Fire in Shasta County

SHASTA COUNTY (KFSN) -- A PG&E employee has died while working in the area of the Carr Fire. This is the massive blaze burning in Shasta County.

At this point, the worker's name has not been released and we do not know where he is from. PG&E released a statement saying, "Our thoughts and prayers are with our fallen team member, his family, and our extended family."

The utility company also said it is working with law enforcement to investigate the incident.
