1 taken to hospital after Porterville house fire

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fire crews are investigating what sparked flames at a home in Porterville.

Firefighters were called to East Roby Avenue between South Page and Rocky Hill Street around 6:30 am.

They say two family members and a few dogs were inside when the fire started.

One person was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Their condition has not yet been released.
