Power outage reported in East Central Fresno

UPDATE: A power outage cut electricity for about 100 homes in East Central Fresno.

The outage is also affecting Fresno Pacific University.

PG&E spokesperson Denny Boyles says a car hit a power pole at Chestnut and Clinton Avenues.

The outage started at 4:18 p.m. PG&E crews are on scene and power expected to be restored at 7:00 p.m.
