Fresno Police investigate a shooting in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man shot in the face and chest is recovering in the hospital and police believe it was a targeted shooting.

The incident happened just before 8:30 Tuesday night at the Cambridge Court Apartments in Central Fresno. Investigators say the 30-year old man was standing in a driveway when he heard several gunshots. He realized he was shot and staggered over to the a breezeway.

Investigators say the only description of the suspect or suspects is that they were driving a white car. The condition of the victim is not known at this time.
