FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Another familiar face here in the Valley has taken the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims got not just a large bucket but a few cups of ice water dumped on her head as well.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has spread worldwide over the last few weeks -- all in the name of research to fight ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The rules are you can make a $100 donation to ALS research, or just a $10 donation if you're willing to endure the ice bucket.
Earlier this week, the Fresno Police Department released video of Mims' counterpart -- Chief Jerry Dyer -- taking the Ice Bucket Challenge.
