Superhero breakfast honors service members, first responders

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of people dined among superheroes Saturday morning in Northwest Fresno.

The Island Waterpark hosted its inaugural Breakfast with Superheroes, honoring local service members and first responders. Kids of all ages were treated to breakfast, played games and even watched a helicopter landing.

Several comic book heroes also made an appearance, including Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man and Superman.

A portion of the proceeds from Saturday's event will benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
