'Derby Down' raises money for Children's Hospital

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Kentucky Derby inspired a fun event in the Valley on Saturday.

The fundraising group La Feliz Guild of Children's Hospital Central California hosted the 11th annual "Derby Down: A Day at the Races." Hundreds of guests filled the infield of the Fresno Fairgrounds racetrack to enjoy live entertainment and place their bets on their favorite derby horses.

This event raises money for the hospital's Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center.

Action News anchor Warren Armstrong served as the master of ceremonies.
