Dozens of people with strong singing voices in the South Valley are hoping for a chance to perform at Chukchansi Park.

The Fresno Grizzlies held auditions on Saturday at the Hanford Mall for people to sing the national anthem at an upcoming baseball game. Individuals and group performances gave their best to the judges. Our own Action News reporter Kate Valentine was part of that panel.

Those who left a strong impression will be invited to Chukchansi Park for a final audition next month.

Opening day for the Grizzlies is April 9.
