FRESNO, Calif. -- Deshon Taylor scored 22 points and Fresno State overcame a five-point halftime deficit to rout San Jose State 77-59 on Wednesday night.

The win is the 100th for coach Rodney Terry at Fresno State, fourth all-time at the school. He stands four wins from matching Jerry Tarkanian's 104 officially credited wins.

Jaron Hopkins finished with 19 points for the Bulldogs (15-11, 7-7 Mountain West), who have won 14 of their last 15 conference home games and six straight at home against San Jose State.

The Spartans (13-11, 6-7) held a 35-30 lead at the half and maintained a three-point advantage with 14 minutes to play. A Deshon Taylor layup followed by a Jahmel Taylor 3 proved to be the turning point for Fresno State however, as the Bulldogs ripped off 24 of the next 27 points to seize a 62-44 advantage with seven minutes to go.

Ryan Welage scored 18 points for the Spartans, who trailed by double figures throughout the last 10 minutes.
