Mother reports 14-year-old son for stabbing outside Fresno movie theater

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 14-year-old has been arrested after his mother turned him into police, he's accused of stabbing another teen.

It happened Friday night when a group of teenagers got into an argument in the parking lot. A 16-year-old was stabbed and taken to the hospital.

The next day, the suspect's mom called police and took him to the station herself.

When officers interviewed him, he confessed to the stabbing and was taken to juvenile hall.

The stabbing victim is expected to be okay.
