Investigators look into burglary at Alpaugh-area firehouse

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Local firefighters became crime victims while battling a blaze on Saturday.

Tulare County sheriff's deputies say someone broke into the firehouse on Center Avenue near Road 34 in the Alpaugh area just after 3 a.m. It happened while the firefighters were out on a call.

About $750 worth of electronics and other items were taken. Investigators collected some physical evidence at the scene and are now searching for suspects.
