Wildfire breaks out near Redinger Lake in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY (KFSN) -- Firefighters are battling a wildfire burning near Redinger Lake, southeast of North Fork. So far it has consumed about 170 acres.

Forest Service personnel and Madera Cal fire are working to contain the flames with more resources headed that way. The fire is burning in grass, brush and oak trees.

It's not yet known what may have sparked that wildfire.

No structures are reported threatened at this time.
