Investigation into Schuster Misconduct Case

Fresno The Fifth District Court of Appeal forced a local judge to make the move, so the defense could investigate misconduct issues.

In December, the Clovis biochemist was convicted of murdering her husband Tim Schuster in 2003.

His remains were found in a barrel of acid. The trial was moved to Van Nuys because of publicity in the Valley.

Schuster's attorney Roger Nuttall believes jurors may have engaged in misconduct by deliberating the case before it was submitted to them.
