Chaffee Zoo Egg Hunt

3/20/2008 Fresno Saturday, March 22 is the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's Great Eggspectations, a special egg hunt for the animals! On this eggs-tra special day, many of the Zoo's animals will search for dozens of decorated eggs and bright melons.

The animal's eggs-cellent adventures are part of the Zoo's enrichment program which is designed to stimulate natural behaviors in the animals such as foraging and play. All activities are free with Zoo admission.

10:00 Orangutans and siamangs

1:30 Sarus cranes
2:00 Kangaroos
2:30 Coati
3:00 Red-ruffed lemurs

Enrichment activities happen every day at Fresno Chaffee Zoo including several holiday themed events. Enrichment promotes natural animal behavior, keeps animals mentally stimulated, and provides added enjoyment for visitors.

Fresno Chaffee Zoo is open every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission during regular Zoo hours is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 2-11 and seniors 62+, and children under 2 and Fresno Chaffee Zoo members are free.
