Second Victim in Clovis Murder

Clovis police now say there was a second victim in Friday's stabbing death of a Clovis mother.Clovis police say Cantrell Ellis broke into his wife's home and stabbed Charlotte Ellis to death. She had moved out two weeks ago because she was divorcing him.

Coroners say she had wounds to her heart, a lung, and her liver as well as defensive wounds to her hands and legs. That means she tried to protect herself.

The couple's two children were at home at the time.

Cantrell Ellis is charged with murder and attempted murder. Police say he attacked someone else at the house, but they won't say who the victim is or why the person was there.
