Paradise Evacuation Order Lifted

Butte County, CA They've lifted a precautionary evacuation order on the town of paradise in butte county today, but many of the mountain roads are still shut down while firefighters try to surround the Butte Fire.

The fire has already killed one person and destroyed 50 homes. It has burned almost 50,000 acres, but firefighters said they have it 55% percent contained Saturday night.

Statewide, more than 300 fires are still active and Governor Schwarzenegger has ordered 2,000 more National Guard troops to train at firefighting. They'll join 400 guard members who are already on the fire lines.
