Obama's Train Ride to D.C.

President-elect Barack Obama's historic train ride to his swearing-in ceremony is now underway.Obama and his family boarded the train in Philadelphia early Saturday morning. They will stop in several cities on their 137 mile route to Washington, D.C.

Obama will pick up Vice President elect Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware. From there the train will travel through Maryland to Baltimore for a rally that's expected to draw about 100,000 people to the War Memorial Plaza. Then it's on to the nation's capital where the train is scheduled to arrive around 7:00 PM this Saturday.

The Obama's trip is similar to the one taken by Abraham Lincoln in 1861, as the 16th president made his way to his own inauguration.
